New Holland Agriculture Unveils New TK4 Series Crawler Tractors

New Holland Agriculture is pleased to announce the launch of its all-new TK4 Series crawler tractors. With more than 85 years of manufacturing experience in the crawler sector, the new TK4 series tractors confirm New Holland’s undisputed leadership in the vineyard and orchard segment as the only manufacturer to provide both self-propelled harvesters and the narrow tractors to work vineyards and orchards.

The new TK4 range covers all requirements, offering a model adapted to each application. With three horsepower models offered, choose between the wide track models Open Field or Mountain for more general applications, in cab or roll bar version. For market gardeners and winegrowers faced with the limits of size and width, New Holland offers three ROPS models available in F, N and V configurations, specially adapted for particularly demanding work in orchards and vineyards.

“The TK4 series pairs functional design to boost stability and traction, with the utmost comfort and efficiency to help producers tackle the most difficult conditions,” said Karl Harvey, New Holland Product Specialist (Speciality tractors and Braud). “Given our continuous innovation in this segment, customers can be sure to find the ideal machine to meet the needs of their operation.”

New Electronically Controlled Engines for Top Level Performance
The TK4 range is now fitted with F5C 3.4-litre Common Rail engines, developed by FPT Industrial and fully meeting the Tier 4A emission standard. With these engines capable of developing 74 to 99 hp and up to 420 Nm of torque, maximum power is now delivered continuously from 1,900 to 2,300 rpm, and fuel consumption is even more economical, thanks to the new electronic engine management system. Productivity is guaranteed day after day, downhill and uphill. The whole TK4 range implements recirculation of cooled exhaust gases (CEGR) to comply with the Tier 4A standard.

Reimagined Operator Comfort
The latest TK4 models benefit from a new optional pneumatic seat and a platform specially designed to protect the driver from heat, noise and vibration. A new firewall concept ensures that the flow of hot air and dust from the engine compartment does not reach the operator platform, in order to improve operator comfort.

The Open Field models are fitted with silent block insulations which reduce the vibrations and heat transmitted to the operator, with the additional advantage of reducing the transfer of mechanical noise from the engine and transmission.

New Front Axle Casting
The front axle casting of the new TK4 crawlers has been designed to be heavier and stronger to allow the application of up to 500kg of front ballast. The increased front axle casting capacity means the new TK4 machines can easily work with even bigger and heavier front implements.

Exclusive New Holland Options
The new TK series tractors continue to offer all of the exclusive systems that have established New Holland as a leading force in the crawler tractor segment:
• Steering-O-Matic™ Plus, a unique single control lever to steer, drive and stop the tractor
• Interchangeable rubber and steel tracks on TK4.80F (available with SmartTrax rubber tracks from the factory only) and TK4.100M
• Lift-O-Matic™ hydraulic lift control system
• Optional factory cab on Open Field models (TK4.100 and TK4.100M)

New Style
The new styling of the hood, with its rounded contours and distinctive cat-eye headlights, not only brings the new TK4 tractors in line with the rest of New Holland's extensive tractor family, it also improves front and side visibility of the work area.

Fruit and Vineyard Solutions
The new TK4 series are complimented by New Holland’s full line of equipment designed for vineyards and orchards. New Holland also recently launched a new series of the Braud high-capacity grape harvesters, as well as redesigned the emission systems for the T4F and T4V narrow wheeled tractors.
