It includes ample showrooms, well-appointed workshops and a well-stocked parts warehouse. From its new headquarters in Khartoum, CTC Group also manages the activities of its network of Agro Technology Transfer Centres that provide sales and service support to customers in the main agricultural areas of Sudan including Al-Gadarif, Sinnar, Kadgouli, Medani, Al-Damer, with plans to expand even further across the country.

At the ceremony, New Holland Agriculture EMEA Vice President, Mr. Alessandro Maritano spoke about the significance of this complex and training centre and the important role of CTC Group in the country’s agriculture.

Mr. Maritano said “Our brand has a long history in Sudan, which started more than 30 years ago when the first FiataAgri tractors arrived here and our partnership with CTC began. Ever since then our relationship with this country has developed and gone from strength to strength. The New Holland Academy will play an important role in providing training to Sudan’s farmers with the aim of contributing to the competitiveness of Sudanese agricultural production and the best use of our equipment. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Elamin Abdellatif, for their commitment to our partnership and to Sudan’s farmers, our customers.”

After the ceremony, the New Holland Academy hosted a two-day series of workshops and seminars where the CTC Group and New Holland illustrated how they are able to support small-scale and large-scale farmers, contributing to the development of the agricultural sector in Sudan. New Holland also presented its farming solutions that cover the complete agricultural cycle from land preparation, planting, seeding, crop preparation, harvesting to irrigation.

During the first day of the seminars, Mattia Manicardi, New Holland Middle East & Africa Business Director stated: “This is a very important accomplishment in New Holland’s history in Sudan. We are proud to be a part of this project and open the New Holland Academy here. This would surely not have been possible without the dedication of everyone involved. We keep working to achieve great results and go further to be a part of the improvement of the agriculture in Sudan.”
